Like any good love story, the two met on a dating app. As if they were meant to be - Zach's bio read "looking for a single dog mom" and Abi's bio read "looking for a single dog dad."

After multiple ignored messages, Abi finally decided to go on a date (which she showed up three whole hours late to) and the two have been inseparable since.

They are opposites in the best of ways and compliment each other perfectly. Where the two can always agree on, is anything having to do with animals. With 7 fur babies of their own, they have also fostered over 150 animals in their time together so far.

With plans to stay in Chattanooga for as long as it makes sense, the two plan on adding at least one human baby to the mix in the next couple of years with hopes to become foster parents as a way to grow their family as well.

If you know Abi, then it's easy to believe that she designed her own engagement ring and all Zach had to do was pay for it. Every summer, the two take a long weekend getaway to Pensacola, Florida. Abi was quite certain she would come back home engaged. In order to throw her off, 5 hours into the drive to Florida, Zach made a whole stressed out ordeal about how he completely forgot the ring at home.

Later that evening as they were getting ready to go out to dinner to celebrate their first night on vacation, Zach was having trouble finding his belt so Abi opened his suitcase to help him look. Immediately upon opening the suitcase, out fell the ring box...

A few nights later, the two were enjoying a beautiful sunset on the beach when a nervous Zach got down on one knee. We can only guess what was said because the two both admit that they blacked out but we're sure it was the stuff of fairytales.

The two can't wait to continue going back on their annual vacation and hopefully one day, can bring their children to see one of their favorite places.
